Seqwater engaged Sequana to lead and deliver the Water Security Investment Program. This includes leading:
- The Business Case for the Tugun Desalination Plant Augmentation which includes responsibility for all site investigations, market soundings, commercial framework, and preparation of a reference design for a 45-GL p.a. expansion, along with other water infrastructure options, to inform a business case.
- The feasibility studies for a new major desalination plant and augmentation of the grid/network. The value of this project will be in the order of $4 to $9 billion. Sequana has been engaged to deliver all elements of the detailed business case over the next 18 months.
