Our Work

Gisborne Recycled Water Plant Upgrade Project – Greater Western Water.

Sequana led a program for Greater Western Water (GWW) to develop a Business Case to obtain Board and VIC Treasury funding approval for the upgrade of the Gisborne Recycled Water Plant.

Our engagement has evolved to include the development of a procurement plan with a commercial framework and risk mitigation strategies, as well as commercial and project management support during the implementation of the project.

Sequana’s project team is required to deliver works within stringent EPA requirements and changes in legislation while ensuring compliance with Ministerial Directives for Public Construction Procurement, Local Jobs First, and Social Procurement Framework.

Sequana supported the client in developing documentation and processes for the Business Case, and procurement documentation to suit a 2-stage (EOI & RFT) procurement process including the development of commercial contract schedules to a DBO Agreement ensuring minimum requirements are addressed from a contract management perspective.

Overview

The Gisborne Recycled Water Plant (RWP) upgrade is a circa $60 million project involving the design and construction of a new RWP at the existing Gisborne RWP site followed by a 2-year operations and maintenance phase. This ensures the RWP has the capacity to meet the region’s demands by 2035.

GWW engaged Sequana to assist in the development and delivery of the project.
