SEQUANA GROUP ACCELERATES NATIONAL GROWTH WITH NEW PARTNERSHIPS IN ENVIRONMENT AND COMMUNICATIONS.

11 Dec 25 · Company News

The Sequana Group has welcomed two new specialist partnerships, with environmental and sustainability consultancy, WolfPeak, and communications and engagement firm, Factotum Communications, joining the Group. Together, they further strengthen the Sequana Group’s capability across environmental advisory, sustainability, planning, community engagement and integrated project delivery.

These additions mark the next step in Sequana’s growth, following the successful partnerships with Atlas Engineering Group and IPS (Infrastructure Project Solutions) in June 2025, and the 2024 strategic investment in Sequana by Pemba Capital Partners. The expanded Group now offers one of Australia’s most comprehensive end-to-end project delivery platforms across the water, environment and energy sectors.

WolfPeak joins the Sequana Group

In the context of federal environmental planning reform, access to clear, robust advice has never been more important to project success.

WolfPeak, a respected Australian environmental and sustainability consultancy, deepens the Sequana Group’s capability in environmental planning, biodiversity assessment, climate risk, natural capital, ESG strategy and independent environmental auditing. Known for its practical, science-based approach to complex regulatory and environmental challenges, WolfPeak strengthens the Group’s ability to help clients meet rapidly evolving standards around resilience, sustainability and compliance.

Welcoming WolfPeak alongside Atlas and IPS is a natural evolution for the Group and reinforces the Sequana Group’s position as an integrated water, environment and energy advisory and delivery partner, adding technical depth where clients need it most and scaling our impact across complex programs.

Sequana Co-Founder and Group CEO, Frank Fisseler, said the partnership with WolfPeak builds on the Group’s commitment to delivering lasting environmental and social value.

“Our partnerships with WolfPeak and Factotum strengthen our ability to solve complex challenges for clients and communities. They align perfectly with our values and our ambition to build the most trusted advisory and delivery platform in Australia,” Fisseler said.

Factotum Communications strengthens stakeholder engagement capability

The Sequana Group has also welcomed Factotum Communications, a highly regarded communications and engagement consultancy specialising in project engagement and community understanding of complex infrastructure issues.

Sequana and Factotum have already worked together on significant water and infrastructure projects over several years. Formalising the relationship is a natural next step that enhances the Group’s ability to deliver informed, transparent and community-centred project outcomes.

“We’re delighted to take this next step with Kate Kernaghan and the Factotum team. Their work is instrumental in building trust with communities and helping people navigate complex issues. Bringing Factotum into the Group strengthens our ability to deliver infrastructure with confidence and clarity”, Fisseler said.

Strengthening a unified national platform

With WolfPeak enhancing environmental, ecological, sustainability and ESG advisory capability, and Factotum strengthening community and stakeholder engagement, the Sequana Group now brings together:

  • end-to-end technical, advisory, design, delivery and engagement capability across the full project lifecycle;
  • broader national reach, with growing teams across NSW, VIC, QLD, WA and emerging operations in new regions;
  • multidisciplinary expertise spanning environmental planning, biodiversity and natural capital, climate and ESG strategy, engineering design, construction delivery, risk management and community engagement; and
  • a values-aligned team focused on integrity, practical outcomes and creating lasting environmental and social value.

Together, these partnerships further unify the Sequana Group and enhance our ability to deliver clear insight, technical depth and delivery certainty for clients.  With a broader, purpose-driven team, the Sequana Group is well placed to help shape more resilient, sustainable and impactful infrastructure across Australia.
