Our Work

Sunbury Recycled Water Plant Upgrade.

Sequana played a pivotal role in the Sunbury Recycled Water Plant Upgrade Project, assuming strategic oversight responsibilities as Project Control Group (PCG) Chair and later as Project Director.

The project, divided into two distinct phases, involved construction works for plant augmentation followed by refurbishment and rehabilitation, ensuring completion by December 2018. Sequana’s key personnel conducted a rigorous 90-day proof of performance test, leading to the plant’s commercial acceptance.

We oversaw the transaction, governance, and implementation of the design, build, operate, and maintain contract, resulting in increased treatment capacity within the same footprint. The project was delivered on time and within budget, with Mike Walsh successfully negotiating the final commercial closeout and settlement of project claims with Downer, as recognised by the Western Water Board.
