Sequana played a pivotal role in the Sunbury Recycled Water Plant Upgrade Project, assuming strategic oversight responsibilities as Project Control Group (PCG) Chair and later as Project Director.
The project, divided into two distinct phases, involved construction works for plant augmentation followed by refurbishment and rehabilitation, ensuring completion by December 2018. Sequana oversaw the plant’s commercial acceptance requirements.
Sequana was also involved in transaction, governance, and implementation of the design, build, operate, and maintain contract, resulting in increased treatment capacity within the same footprint. The project was delivered on time and within budget, with Sequana’s Managing Partner successfully negotiating the final commercial closeout, as recognised by the Western Water Board.
