Coliban Water engaged Sequana as the commercial advisor for the end-of-term extension of an existing BOOT scheme (AQUA2000) for three of its water treatment plants (Bendigo, Castlemaine, and Kyneton).
This involved reviewing the current term’s risk allocation and providing the required input during the business case development from a commercial perspective. The commercial team also developed the commercial principles for further service terms and accordingly developed and provided input in developing the commercial principles, risk allocation, deed terms/commercial schedules, such as payment mechanism, RFT documentation, and abatement/ performance regime.
